Motivation Building Siswa dan Guru SMPN 2 Purwosari Gunung Kidul

Abstract
A teacher is an agent of change. This dedication raises the issue of the apathy of a state school in the Gunung Kidul area, which is located in the remote area, far from the city. The students of SMPN 2 Purwosari, GunungKidul, almost all of whom are recipients of the Smart Indonesia Program, who can be said as disadvantaged students. They do not have good motivation to study as a result of their unwillingness to continue to a higher level. This has an impact on weakening teachers’ motivation in teaching because they face challenges in the learning process. This service involves lecturers and students from the English Education study program. Apart from that, students are also introduced to college life to foster enthusiasm for learning and continue to higher education.
