Abstract
In our community service, we focus on assisting a series of business management activities: determining the selling price and how to sell (marketing strategy). The mentoring pattern is carried out directly in practice (learning by doing) and through introductions to shops that accommodate their products. In particular, there are four products as objects: a string rosary, a nail rosary, an embroidered rosary purse, and a devotional prayer bag with embroidery and batik patches. After discussions with the artisans, the minimum selling price of the product per unit is (1) a nail rosary of IDR 12,900.00; (2) a String Rosary of IDR 7,000.00; a Rosary Wallet with Embroidery of IDR 4,500.00; and a Prayer Bag of Dukur with Sulaan and Patches of Batik of IDR 6,100.00. At the same time, the method of selling is carried out using direct sales, sales through associations, and entrusted to the store. This is done so that the mentoring process can become a productive, economically valuable, and sustainable business for mothers and young women. Ultimately, it can increase the welfare of the families of the craftsmen.
