Abstract
Stroke is a condition with the potential to lead to both disability and fatality. It can impact individuals of all ages and genders, encompassing both young and elderly populations. Hypertension and diabetes mellitus are risk factors for a person having a stroke. Hypertension and diabetes mellitus service coverage at the Sanden Community Health Center is less than 20%. Several things can be taken to prevent various aspects of stroke, thereby reducing its impact on morbidity and mortality rates. The aim of this activity is to form jumantroke cadres as an effort to reduce stroke mortality and morbidity in the Sanden health center working area, especially Murtigading and Srigading sub-districts. The "stroke monitoring officer" (jumantroke) serves as a dedicated health cadre for addressing stroke-related issues. The methods used are training, discussions, practice with assistance, and independent practice. Training can provide knowledge for cadres to carry out their functions. In conclusion, jumantroke has been formed in Murtigading and Srigading sub-districts. Cooperation is needed from cadres and community health centers so that this program can run well.
