Pelatihan Decade Counter dan Gerbang Logika untuk Guru-Guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama BPK Penabur di Wilayah Jakarta

Abstract
The Department of Electrical Engineering at UKRIDA conduct a community service in the form of electronics training to teachers from BPK Penabur Jakarta Junior High School (SMP). The electronics training involved decade counter, logic gate, and the applications which are typically used in daily life. The training is an experimental-based that structured to engage teachers extensively in doing experiments by providing decade counter and logic gate in a single electronic module. The electronic module consists of and gate, or gate, decade counter, seven segment, infrared sensor, buzzer, timer, switch, and button. One of the challenges that is given to the teachers is to create a counter system that can be manually stated and stopped as well as automatically stops when the counter reaches a particular number. With this approach of training, we achieve more than 50% of very good assessments in every criterion including training duration, training materials, easy to understand, and interest to the future training.
