Abstract
A wise homemaker will understand how to manage the family's finances, ensuring a balance between the household's income provided by the head of the family and the expenses, especially for the children's education costs. The role of higher education institutions is crucial in providing information and insights about proper family financial management, particularly in allocating funds for children's education. Therefore, there is a need for concrete actions to help provide education and socialization with the aim of assisting homemakers in understanding how to manage family finances for education expenses effectively and appropriately. Besides fulfilling one of the tertiary education's core missions, we have also actively participated in applying the competencies possessed by economics lecturers.
