PENGEMBANGAN KOMPETENSI GURU MELALUI MODUL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS SUMBERDAYA ALAM PESISIR

Abstract
Increasing teacher competence is one of the important roles in improving the quality of education, teachers need to understand the characteristics of different students and are expected to be able to differentiate learning, starting from planning, implementation, to evaluation which are all written in the teaching module. For this reason, teachers need to have the ability to make teaching modules. Interesting teaching modules can make it easier for students to answer questions and improve creative ability to solve problems, in this case environmental problems. The purpose of this service activity is to increase the professional competence of teachers in making environment-based teaching modules. This service activity uses a comprehensive training approach with a Case Based Learning and Project based learning approach. The implementation of learning using the blended learning method for junior high school teachers in the North Jakarta area. After this training, teachers have skills in mapping student potential and making teaching materials that are in accordance with student capacity and can make teaching modules with content of local school conditions, namely coastal areas
