Pemeriksaan Kesehatan Lansia di GKI Surya Utama Agustus 2023

Abstract
Over time, the percentage of the elderly population in Indonesia continues to increase. And it is estimated that 40% of elderly people experience health problems. The aim of this project is to determine the health status of the elderly group in the GKI Surya Utama community. Subjects are all elderly (age ≥ 60-year-old). All the subjects were interviewed then get tested for blood pressure and pulse checks, random blood sugar levels, uric acid levels and total cholesterol levels. The examination was carried out using a tool based on the point of care testing (POCT) method. All data was tabulated and analysed used Microsoft Excel. From this community service results it was found that in the majority of elderly people there was an increase in blood pressure, random blood sugar levels, uric acid and cholesterol. Further activities and knowledge are needed so the elderly can understand their own health and how they maintain their health.
